Your branch representatives will feel comfortable relying on our experienced staff to provide your business customers with kind of service they come to expect from your bank. When a customer is referred to us, a representative will provide all the information they need to make an informed choice of processing options. We can communicate with the customer through the branch or, make contact directly, and then communicate the status back to the branch, every step of the way. CBS will pay $75.00 for every account set up under this program. The merchant contracts are with CBS and we have 100% of the liability for each account. This program is a great fit for financial institutions wanting to offer these products and services to their business customers without any of the negatives associated with building or maintaining a merchant bankcard department.      Agent Partner Program Partnership for Success This program is designed for financial institutions that need "back office" support for many of the functions required to effectively operate a merchant bankcard department. Under our Agent Bank Program, CBS can perform some or all of the following functions; new account establishment on the various systems, merchant training, equipment deployment, general customer service, chargeback and retrieval functions, terminal and technical support, research, assistance in marketing and internal promotion and support. With this program, you maintains control of as much of the process you wish, while "outsourcing" those functions that are not necessary to perform "in-house". The current customer base, as well as any future customers will communicate directly with the bank. Your bank representatives will in turn have a relationship manager directly responsible for any of the functions CBS is responsible for. The merchant contracts remain with the bank as well as the liability, income and expense. This program is ideal for those institutions that currently maintain a merchant bankcard portfolio but find the cost and effort required to perform every function of a merchant bankcard department, prohibitive to success.                                     Managed Risk Program The Best of Both Worlds This program is offered for financial institutions that wish to eliminate the credit and fraud risk of operating a merchant bankcard portfolio, but still require the kind of control available through the Agent Bank Program. CBS provides the processing and network services along with any of the operational functions such as new account establishment on the various systems, merchant training, equipment deployment, general customer service, chargeback and retrieval functions, terminal and technical support, research, assistance in marketing and internal promotion and support. CBS owns the merchant contracts, assumes 100% of the liability and would perform the underwriting on all of the accounts. With this program, the "control" is still maintained without the risk associated with liability of merchant accounts. Your bank representatives will have a relationship manager directly responsible for all of the functions "outsourced" to CBS. This program takes elements from both our Referral Bank Program and Agent Bank Program and combines them to form a Merchant Bankcard program that includes the best of both worlds.
